You're Different
Think about something that's different about yourself--something that's made life harder for you. Explain one way you could be changed to make it easier (even if it isn't possible), and explain one way the world would have to change. Which of these options would you choose in your unique situation--change yourself, or change the world?

How to answer this? I'm in a mood.
I would like to change myself so that I could will the smell and taste of my sweat to become an irresistible aphrodisiac, almost an addictive drug to all female humanoids. Also there's even an absorption through touch element and it tastes like chocolate. Then I'd like to change the world to be 30% more humid. ;D
Also, I would like to be an electric guitar gawd.

Well I know a lot of ways in which I could be changed to make life easier, things that may or may not end up happening but given enough self-esteem incentive and inspiration, will. Don't wanna go into details on a public forum, but you know what I'm talking about, Swanky. The world would have to change slightly to be seen as not so judgemental and I'd have to get the feeling like there was more support than opposition but in the end people are who they are whether that's as we'd like or not. I'd rather change the world than change myself. I'd like to see a world where everyone can be accepted and loved for exactly who they are without all the hatred and violence that comes about if people are different from the 'norm'. A world where people can see beyond the narrowminded views their folk/community/church/group and themselves have taught them and see that there is more than one side to a square, and that finally the world will be one where there is harmony and people can all be happy without having to fear reprisal. That is basically a mandatory human right that should exist but doesn't, so it is certainly more important than my changing. Oh, and I'd take some of SHO's sweat changing aphrodisiac and implant it in myself too, that'd be nice! Love that idea, SHO! Hope you invent it one day! haha.

I'd hate to give up my synesthesia. Being able to taste music, see colours in it and smell it is nice, but I hate my sound/smell sensitivity issues and the fact that I am slightly somewhat autistic, but these things make me me, but the sound and smell issues drive me insane when I have to go out in society.
So society should STOP POPPING THEIR STUPID GUM and making gross noises because it's just good manners.
Also, I wish mys social skills were a bit better in the sense that I can convince some guy I like to run off with me.

I don't read body language or tone of voice well. (And consequently, don't control my own well.) I don't feel social pressure nearly as much as most people (including my family members). My family is convinced I have "Aspergers syndrome". I, on the other hand, feel that most other people are afflicted with "Lemming syndrome", and point out that *someone* has to stay behind to repopulate the earth when "everyone else" runs over the cliff. My daughter says she would rather go over the cliff with all her friends than be left behind with all the weird people.
And I wear ear plugs a lot, because loud sounds bother me. I'm not sure if that is part of "Aspergers", or just valuing the ability to hear. So many people around me are losing their hearing from loud music and other environmental noise. Ironically, my speaking voice is over 70 decibels, my stressed voice is 82 decibels, and singing voice louder still. At 90 decibels, OSHA requires hearing protection. Yes, it's weird that I actually measure this stuff - but useful.
My most disturbing fear is ending up with a Darwin Award. Dying in a good cause is scary, but not as disturbing as dying as a result of stupidity. And yet, all of us do stupid things from time to time.
