Go To Bed
Do you have a bedtime, self-imposed or otherwise? What's your sleep schedule like? How long do you usually sleep at a time?

I just go to bed when I feel like it, though there is a saying by some that to go to sleep at the same time every night is helpful and maybe I should start to do that. Before actually sleeping but in bed, if I'm not too tired I'll listen to music or watch some tv. I usually go to sleep well before midnight then wake up at least once around 1-2 am which is just so annoying cause it does take me a while to drift off to sleep always after tossing and turning a bit to get comfy. I wake up different times in the morning, mostly around 8, sometimes 7-ish and even sometimes 6, just depends. But I do get enough sleep to be able to function always it's just frustrating waking up in the middle of the night and having to go back to sleep again. And my dreams forever are not relaxing, some dream of palm trees and relaxing on a beach or something tranquil, mine is every night some problem that doesn't actually exist in waking life which actually could make one feel like life is good cause at least life isn't like the dreams!

Interesting the points made by, blondi. I too feel sometimes like I should do the "proper" sleep thing, but a schedules and me don't seem to want to be friends on anything! I also feel a little like Weaver did this week in that sense.
Reading Weaver's thoughts about his odd sleep schedule made me think that perhaps he came from a planet that revolved quicker and had shorter days, or perhaps had an odd enough solar system (or MOON system) to eliminate either day or night all together making our 12-hour system unnecessary. It also evokes the strangeness (and strange thoughts of) my own sleep patterns. I go to sleep when I'm tired and I wake when my body is done. When sleep time comes it hits me hard. Sometimes I try to fight it and my brain will stay alert enough to continue receiving, processing, and sometimes even responding to information. It's a weird thing to describe but people that have been around me at "sleep-time" will completely understand what I mean. Afterward my body will shut down and I will go to sleep. Whatever bodies need to do to recover during sleep, mine will do it and, if I get up when it's done and not try to squeeze out more sleep because of idle laziness, I will pop back awake refreshed and alert. This usually takes anywhere from around two to four hours and as little as ten or twenty minutes. Then I'm good for the day and only rarely need to do it again in the same 24-hour period. However, after about a week or two I will hit a day where I sleep for sixteen to thirty hours (only arising to go to the bathroom every so often). As far as I can tell there is no set pattern to any of this.
Perhaps one day I will record my sleep schedule for long enough too figure out the day/night pattern of my home dimension. ;D
