What's Your Getaway?

Most people have their one place, pastime, or hobby they use as an escape. What do you do or where do you go when you want to be alone?

Like Baby Amanda, I LOVE the night. I love places up high, a nice chilly night, and plenty of wind. I guess I would be thrilled by night flying then, huh? But since I haven't discovered my flying ability yet I have to enjoy my fall back of sitting on high bleachers and perching at the top of tall slides with a nice book and a flashlight (if the area's floodlights aren't on), with a sandwich or crackers and a bottle of water in my pockets, and a bright full moon above.

My getaway is running outside at night. I always have a million things to do, so feeling the wind against my skin and the adrenaline coursing through my veins is a wonderful feeling. I just run and run and run and feel like I have no more responsibilities, because my whole being is focused on the physical act of running. It's exhilarating.
