Preferred Hand
Obviously Ivy's preferred "hand" is her invisible one, but other than that, do you think she shows signs of being left-handed or right-handed? (There's actually a right answer to this if you've paid attention, but did YOU notice?) Do you consider yourself a righty, a lefty, or both?

I'm a righty with writing, drawing, painting, things like that, but I catch and throw with my left. If I attempt to throw with my right arm it is very visibly obvious that I am going to do it wrong (actually, it pretty much looks like I am about to hit myself on the back of the head). I tend to carry things slung over my left shoulder while securing with my left hand (both hands if the thing is extremely heavy), though I think I mostly carry smaller objects in my right (or possibly whatever's most convenient at the time)

She's not old enough to answer surveys yet!!! There's actually stuff in the comic that suggests which hand she prefers if she uses her hands at all, I promise.

Well I *was* going to say she's a lefty but then I realized I was looking at the comic all wrong and got the left/right hands back to front from my perspective not as hers, my left was her right etc so that was wrong, dunno i'm all confused now, haha.
Anyway, I'm a lefty when writing and can be ambidextrous when doing other things; when brushing teeth, using the computer mouse I use the right, but not the writing cause then if that's done right handed it looks like 2 year old scribble.

Hmmm. I went back a few comics to examine her hand usage, and to me she seems ambidextrous with a preference for her right hand. I may be wrong, though. ^_^

I wouldn't say she actually is ambidextrous, but sometimes it probably looks like she can use her hands equally well . . . really, though, a lot of the time if it looks like she's holding something, she's doing so with pretty regular, significant assistance. As for which hand she prefers, the biggest clue is probably which hand she always seems to gravitate toward using when she's using a writing utensil! (You know, coloring before she left her parents, or stealing markers from Theresa, or doodling on paper when those dudes with the fruit stand brought her in. . . . )
