Your Philosophy
Have you ever tried to teach someone a religion, philosophy, or way of life? If so, was it because the person came to you wanting to know, or because you wanted the other person to believe/practice what you do?

I once made some Jehovah's Witnesses excuse themselves, looking at their watches, and go away from my apartment through earnest debate. I have not had Jehovah's Witnesses knock on my door since then. I think they put me on a Jehovah's Witness-Relocation list or something.
Years later some left a pamphlet and a note but didn't knock. I kept the note. I call it my "drive-by witnessing". True story.
Does any of this count?

I with Dax on this one. If someone asks about what I believe in I'll answer questions, but who am I to try and teach a belief, let alone attempt to force it on someone else? (though I think there are exceptions for philosophies that are more about common decency than anything else, i.e. stealing is bad, so is bad mouthing someone, etc.)
In general though, who am I to tell anyone else how to live their life? I may not always agree with everyone else's beliefs and ideas, but they're just as entitled to their opinions as I am to mine.

Every time I hear people philosophizing about stealing being bad, someone usually comes back with the hypothetical situation of someone having to steal bread or milk to feed their starving family/baby. Like is stealing bad for poor people in a certain area if the local merchant forces every other business away then greedily raises prices because there are no other shopping options for those poor people? Was Robin Hood evil from taking from the wealthy-by-birth class and giving to the poor-hard-working-but-taxed-to-poverty class?
