Have anything to say about #269: dax #34: what's your story? This is the place to discuss with others without having to post directly on the comic (though you're free to do both)!

I actually like Alix. He's interesting. So far, I think he seems nice. I don't know what he does later on in the story, but I get the feeling he does something annoying or SHO! wouldn't hate him so much. ;D

I think SHO! is going to kick Alix's ass after school.

He's such a smeeeeeg heeeeeeead. You can just hear the "smarm" in his voice right now. I do however wonder if you liking him now will be enough for you to continue to like him if he becomes somehow obnoxious with other characters you like more. ;D

I think SHO! is going to kick Alix's ass after school. He's just so jerky. And not even like good jerky... like tofurkey jerky. Alix is human tofurkey jerky. Even his name is tofurkey jerky. Did he name himself that with that spelling?

Even his name is tofurkey jerky. Did he name himself that with that spelling? No. His legal name is Alix Timothy Roth. Blame his parents. Or the author.

No. His legal name is Alix Timothy Roth. Blame his parents. Or the author. Heh, reminds me of my favorite opening line in a story, "His name was Eustace Clarence Scrubb, and he almost deserved it." (C.S. Lewis, Voyage of the Dawn Treader)

How absolutely shocking! Not fair, SHO! I'm not cool enough to know this stuff in advance, so I'll keep liking him until he does something to deserve my annoyance.

Yih, I really like Tim Roth too! Now I'm going to associate his name with Alix.

He's doing it to (the much cooler, imo) Weaver right now. I don't see that getting better before it gets worse. But who knows? The author might trick me.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree, because right now I feel like it's Weaver who's being obnoxious rather than Alix. Funny how two people can interpret the exact same scene in such different ways. ;D

Funny how two people can interpret the exact same scene in such different ways. ;D Well, I think of it like this. Weaver and Dax were there first and have known each other for a while. I'd consider that area their home. How you act in your own home is up to you. Alix, the interloper, on the otherhand, is new. Yet he is using some very personal insults that usual are only looked upon kindly between good friends. He's in somene else's house, he should be on better behavior.
Also, I kind of do know stuff about Alix in the future. So I guess I'll just have to wait to see how long we continue to disagree.
V o t e for Weaver
